SERVICE:

When you need service on your Caterpillar Truck Engine, come to one of our full service shops located across the state. We have a second shift at all our full service locations and a weekend shift at our Ashland, VA facility to meet your needs.

PAR CERTIFIED DYNO
Is your Truck Engine performing the way it should? You can find out with a Performance Analysis Report (PAR) from Carter Machinery. Unlike other competitive dyno tests , PAR checks your engine across its entire operating range. Other factors including fuel A.P.I., atmospheric conditions, driveline components and tire design are considered in the analysis. Using the dyno can help minimize diagnostic time and get you back on the road .

Only Caterpillar Certified Truck Engine Analysts are allowed to perform PAR testing at our dealership. We have at least 2 PAR Certified Technicians on each shift to help meet your needs.

TOPP (Truck Owner Protection Program) – This exclusive Caterpillar program lets you control costs with a guaranteed cost of operation based on miles, hours of use or gallons of fuel consumed (whichever is most appropriate for your application).

TOPP Coverage Includes

• Customized coverage to fit the mileage, hours and fuel consumption of your specific truck.
• Guaranteed lowest cost-per-mile rate as long as you are enrolled in the program.
• Around-the-clock assistance – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Your own account manager to monitor all aspects of service for your Cat truck engine.
• Quarterly, detailed engine service reports.
• Guaranteed transferability and extension of coverages to increase the value of your truck.
  
  

• Heavy-duty Truck Engines – Cat’s standard warranty covers parts and labor for 24 months/unlimited mileage and has an extended warranty on major components up to 5 years/500,000 miles.
  
• Medium-duty On-Highway Applications – Cat’s standard warranty covers parts and labor for 36 months/150,000 miles or 3,600 operating hours (whichever occurs first after delivery date).
  
• Extended Service Coverage (ESC) and pre-owned truck engine "Advantage" programs are also available.
